Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 was officially announced in January 2024 alongside Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro+ and Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro. Pre Orders began on 04 January 2024 and the devices were made available on January 10, 2024. It landed in Kenya in February 2024. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 succeeds the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 as the top new Redmi flagship.  Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 is available at City hub at Ksh.20,500 for the 128GB + 6GB RAM, Ksh.22,900 for the 128GB + 8GB RAM and Ksh.24,000 for the 256GB + 8GB.

It is part of the Redmi Note 13 series, coming with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display, 120Hz refresh rate and 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution. Redmi Note 13 runs on Qualcomm SM6225 Snapdragon 685 (6 nm) SoC with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It has a triple camera main set-up comprising 108MP+ 8MP + 2MP and a 16MP front camera inside the punch-hole.  Redmi Note 13 4G phone is powered by a 5,000mAh battery and recharged by a 33W, wired fast charger.

Design

The Redmi Note 13 is a smartphone with flat panels and a flat frame. There is a Gorilla Glass 5 sheet at the front that keeps the screen safe, the back is made of multi-layered plastic, and the frame is also plastic with a matte finish. The phone is IP54-rated for dust and splash resistance
