OnePlus Nord 2 5G was officially announced in July 2021 alongside OnePlus Nord 2 Lite, OnePlus Nord 2T and OnePlus Nord CE 2. Pre Orders began on 22 July 2021 and the devices were made available on July 28, 2021. It landed in Kenya in August 2021. The OnePlus Nord 2 5G succeeds the OnePlus Nord 1 as the top new OnePlus flagship.  OnePlus Nord 2 5G is available at City hub at Ksh.35,000 for the 128GB + 8GB RAM.

The OnePlus Nord 2 is a mid-range smartphone with a 6.43-inch Fluid AMOLED, 1080 x 2400 pixels, 90Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support. Runs a MediaTek Dimensity 1200-AI processor. It has an option of 6GB, 8GB, or 12GB RAM with 128GB or 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. It has a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP main sensor (Sony IMX766), 8MP ultra-wide, and 2MP mono lens.
