Samsung Galaxy A25 5G price in Kenya
The Samsung Galaxy A25 was launched in December 2023 alongside the Samsung A15. Pre-orders began on December 11, 2023, and the devices were made available on December 16, 2023. It landed in Kenya in January 2024. Samsung Galaxy A25 is available at City hub at Ksh.27,500 for the 128GB + 6GB RAM and Ksh.30,500 for 256GB + 8GB RAM.
The Galaxy A25 phone has a 6.5-inch super AMOLED screen with an Infinity-V notch, a 90Hz refresh rate, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. It runs on an Octa-core Mediatek Helio G99 (6nm) processor with 128GB, 6GB RAM, 128GB, and 8GB RAM, and is based on Android 13, upgradable to Android 14, One UI 6 OS.
Samsung Galaxy A25 has a triple rear main camera setup consisting of 50MP+ 8MP + 2MP. At the front, it features a 13MP (wide) selfie camera. The front is glass, and the body and back are plastic. It is powered by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging out of the box.

Design
The Galaxy A25 looks the same as many of the recent Galaxy A phones. It’s simple design is made stunning with a new black color pairs with a streamlined design and simplified camera housing for a sleek profile that matches rest of the Galaxy lineup.
The Galaxy A25 is mostly made of plastic. This includes both the back panel and the middle frame. The new frame is nicer to touch and better to feel in in-hand feel.

The new addition to the Galaxy A25 is the 120Hz refresh rate, up from 90Hz on last year’s Galaxy A24 and now more in line with the 120Hz available on the Galaxy A3X family and the A34 in particular.

Camera
The camera setup on the Galaxy A25 seems to be changed coming from the Galaxy A34, as the main camera is now 50MP instead of 48MP.

The Galaxy A25 mostly carries forward the camera setup of its Galaxy A24 predecessor. This includes the main 50MP snapper with OIS, the 2MP macro cam on the back and a 13MP fixed-focus selfie camera. The one upgrade here is the move to a higher resolution 8MP ultrawide camera on the back, up from the 5MP unit inside the Galaxy A24.

Platform
The Samsung Galaxy A25 runs on the latest Android 14 out of the box with Samsung’s own One UI 6.
Last year’s Galaxy A24 was powered by the Exynos 1380 chip, and now the A25 gets a newer, more powerful Exynos 1280 chipset based on the 4nm manufacturing process.
The new Exynos 1280 features the same 2x Cortex-A78 and 6x Cortex-A55 combo, but the main four cores are clocked higher this time around. The cluster of four Cortex-A78 cores ticks at 2.4 GHz, while the Cortex-A55 cluster remains at 2.0 GHz. The Mali-G68 GPU, however, has been replaced by the Xclipse 530 GPU

Battery and Storage
The Galaxy A35 has a long-lasting battery with super-fast charging. It powers through long days and charge up in a flash. It has a hefty 5,000 mAh battery pack on board – a capacity that most users have come to expect nowadays. The phone makes decent enough use of said battery, managing an active use score of 10:19 hours. We would have ideally liked to see some better browsing and gaming results.
It boosted internal storage lets you keep more and worry less.

The Galaxy A35 comes in a modest retail box with only some user manuals, a SIM tool and a USB-C to USB-C cable for charging and data transfer. There’s no charger included.
