Tecno Phantom X2 was officially announced in December 2022 alongside Tecno Tecno Phantom X2 Pro. Pre Orders began on 22 December 2022 and the devices were made available on January 09, 2023. It landed in Kenya in February 2023. The Tecno Phantom X2 succeeds the Tecno Phantom X as the top new Tecno flagship. Tecno Phantom X2 is available at City hub at Ksh.70,500 for the 256GB + 8GB RAM.

The Tecno Phantom X2 is an Android 12 smartphone with impressive features. The device has unibody double-curved screen with a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels with 500 nits brightness. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset(4 nm) processor with Mali-G710 MC10 GPU and octa-core CPU (1x 3.05 GHz Cortex-X2, 3x 2.85 GHz Cortex-A710, 4x 1.80 GHz Cortex-A510).

It is protected by the corning gorilla glass victus protection. The phone has 8GB RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. It runs on HIOS 12 based on Android 12 and all this is powered by a 5160 mAh non-removable battery with 45W wired fast charging (54% in 20 minutes, 100% in 60 minutes).
