Tecno Pop 7 Pro was officially announced in January 2023 alongside Tecno Spark Go 2023. Pre Orders began on 28 January 2023 and the devices were made available in January 28,2023. It landed in Kenya in February 2023. The Tecno Pop 7 Pro succeeds the Tecno Pop 6 Pro as the top new Tecno flagship. Tecno Pop 7 Pro is available at City hub at Ksh.13,500 for the 64GB + 3GB RAM and Ksh.14,999 for the 64GB + 4GB RAM.
The Tecno Pop 7 Pro is a budget-friendly Android smartphone that features 6.6-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels (20:9 aspect ratio) with a dimension: 163.9 x 75.5 x 8.9 mm (6.45 x 2.97 x 0.35 in). It is built with a Glass front, plastic back, and plastic frame. It is powered by MediaTek Helio A22 (MT6761) with a quad-core CPU (4x 2.0 GHz Cortex-A53) chipset processor.
The camera system has a dual main camera of 13 MP wide (AF) and QVGA that features Dual-LED flash, panorama, HDR with a video recording of 1080p@30fps. The front camera has 5MP for selfies. It is connected with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS and a USB Type-C 2.0, FM radio. It has a fingerprint (rear-mounted), accelerometer, proximity sensors.
It is powered by 5000 mAh non-removable battery and charging 10W wired that runs HiOS 12 (based on Android 12).
