Vivo Y36 4G in Kenya
Vivo Y36 4G was officially announced in May 2023 alongside Vivo S17 Pro, Vivo S17, Vivo S17t and Vivo Y35+. Pre Orders began on 27 May 2023 and the devices were made available on May 27, 2023. It landed in Kenya in June 2023. The Vivo Y36 succeeds the Vivo Y26 as the top new Vivo flagship. Vivo Y36 is available at City hub at Ksh.29,000 for the 128GB + 8GB RAM.
The vivo Y36 4G is a smartphone that features a 6.64-inch FHD+ IPS LCD screen display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 650 nits. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 4G chipset processor (6nm) with an octa-core CPU (4×2.4 GHz Kryo 265 Gold & 4×1.9 GHz Kryo 265 Silver) and an Adreno 610 GPU.
The rear camera setup includes a 50 MP primary lens (f/1.8, wide) with PDAF, a 2 MP depth sensor (f/2.4), and a 2 MP macro lens (f/2.4). For selfies, there’s a 16 MP front camera (f/2.5, wide). It was available in configurations of 128GB 4GB RAM, 128GB 8GB RAM, and 256GB 8GB RAM. It has IP54 dust and splash resistance, side-mounted fingerprint sensor, 24-bit/192kHz Hi-Res audio, and NFC.
It is equipped with a 5000 mAh non-removable battery, supporting 44W wired charging (30% charge in 15 minutes, as advertised). The colors are available in Meteor Black, Gold, and Aqua Glitter variants.
